Message from Headteacher

Headteacher’s Welcome Message - Mrs Alison Shearer

A very warm welcome to St Nicholas Church of England VC Primary School.
We trust both you and your child will enjoy finding out more about us and our teaching and learning environment.

This is our mission statement for all we do here at St Nicholas:

We create the space for each child to develop his/her academic, spiritual, moral, social, cultural, musical and sporting gifts/talents whilst building on a firm foundation of Christian beliefs and values.
All of our work, with both children and adults here, is deeply rooted in the belief that every person is a precious individual who, with the correct support, can achieve great things. To us, every child and adult plays a valuable part in our school, our local community and beyond on a more global scale.
Our caring, highly committed, skilled staff work hard to ensure they create the perfect space for your child to achieve their very best in all learning experiences. We have a strongly driven desire to see your child blossom during his/her time with us here at St Nicholas.
Each half term, we focus on a new personal key skill to ensure we become keen learners with a genuine love for success. We also focus on the following Christian values which underpin everything we do.
